Mike Dixon
Mike Dixon has always had a love for all animals, especially dogs. This love for dogs pushed Mike to switch from a long and distinguished career as a Critical Care Flight Medic to his current position as one Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky’s most distinguished and desired Canine Experts.
Mike is truly a dog person, he can relate to dogs on their level due to his understanding of canine ethology. Once you see Mike work with your dog it is easy to see why early on his customers became lifelong clients.
In 2000 Mike started as a certified dog trainer with Pet Smart. He soon rose up the ranks to one of the top trainers in the company. At Pet Smart Mike also trained and certified student dog trainers. Mike built a solid foundation of experience working at Pet Smart, where he was responsible for training thousands of dogs with a wide variety of behavior issues. Mike also worked under various local trainers learning to work with problem solving and different types of canine aggression.
Mike is an expert in his field due to his natural drive for perfection. He will always strive for the best results with you and your dog. Mike continues to strive to be at the top of his field by continuing to go to industry related seminars. Mike is also perusing his degree as an Applied Animal Behaviorist specializing in aggression.
Mike started conducting Therapy Dog Training in 2007. He is very dedicated in writing his own program, a program that has produced some of the best Therapy Dogs in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. He also works closely with some local service dog trainers.
Mike is highly recommended by many local Veterinarians, having trained their dogs and worked with them in various different capacities.
